The dimensions and the vinyl surface of styrene sheets purchased from a local sign-making shops appeals to me. Using Chinese paint brushes and ink, with twirls of brush tips, circular shapes metastasized into biomorphic jungles. With straight strokes, the paintings turned into cartoonish polluted-urban scapes. The styrene sheets are sturdy and hang on two nails through two holes. The ink lines will dissolve if they get wet, making present the instability of the images.
